Meet William
Music, and the people who make it happen.
From the bandstand
to the next gathering.
Will Lavender is a recovering jazz guitarist and lifelong singer. His earliest blues performances—while washing dishes at the Hill Cafeteria in Auburn, Alabama—were widely panned.
He currently leads Willie and The Conkaroos and plays guitar and sings with Me and The Devil.
Will founded the Oak Ridge Jazz Jam in August 2021, making it the oldest continuously running public jazz jam in East Tennessee, and organizes both the Jazz Jam and the Oak Ridge Blues Jam, bringing local musicians and listeners together around live music.
He also connects local venues with blues and jazz musicians. Will has booked musicians for the City of Morristown, the Oak Ridge Rotary Club, and the Oak Ridge Children’s Museum, as well as numerous private and corporate events.
